Terms and Conditions of Sale

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) govern all orders placed on gateshelves.com (the “Website”), operated by Gate Shelves (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order on our Website, the Customer (“you”) agrees to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

1. Purpose

These Terms establish the rights and obligations between Gate Shelves and the Customer for all sales of modular shelves and related products via the Website. By confirming an order, you enter into a binding contract with us under these Terms.

2. Products

  • Product descriptions aim to reflect the aesthetic and technical characteristics of our shelves as accurately as possible.
  • Due to natural variations in wood, finishes, and craftsmanship, slight differences may occur between photos and actual products.
  • Such variations are not considered defects.

3. Orders

  • Orders are placed online via the Website.
  • By confirming your order and completing payment, you accept these Terms.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate shipping and billing information. Mistakes that result in failed delivery are your responsibility.

4. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are listed in EUR for EU orders and USD for international orders.
  • Prices exclude customs duties, VAT (for non-EU orders), or other import taxes. These must be paid locally by the Customer.
  • Payment must be made in full at the time of order.
  • We accept card payments, bank transfers, and other secure methods available at checkout.

5. Delivery

  • Lead times are specified on each product page. Standard production time for shelves is 6–12 weeks unless otherwise stated.
  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and weight.
  • For EU deliveries, VAT is included in the price. For non-EU deliveries, additional duties and taxes may apply.
  • Once goods are shipped, risk of loss or damage transfers to the Customer.

6. Custom Orders

Custom finishes or dimensions may be available upon request. Custom orders require a minimum of 12–16 weeks for production and are non-refundable.

7. Returns & Cancellations

  • Standard products may be returned within 14 days of delivery for exchange or store credit, provided they are unused and in original packaging.
  • Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer.
  • Custom orders and sale items are final sale and cannot be returned.
  • Cancellations must be requested within 5 business days of placing the order. After this period, cancellations are not accepted.

8. Warranty

Gate Shelves warrants products against manufacturing defects for 3 years from the date of delivery. This warranty does not cover natural variations in wood, normal wear and tear, or damage caused by misuse, accidents, or improper assembly.

Claims must be submitted to info@gateshelves.com within 10 days of noticing a defect.

9. Intellectual Property

All designs, photographs, and content on gateshelves.com are the property of Gate Shelves. Any reproduction or commercial use without prior consent is prohibited.
